Inquiry process more efficient
After late pre-registration ends in May 2017, the only way for companies to get in contact with existing registrants to share data and have access to the joint registration is through an inquiry. This means compiling an inquiry dossier in IUCLID and submitting it to ECHA.
We expect the number of inquiry dossiers to increase after May, and have, therefore, improved the inquiry process to make sure that potential registrants are put in contact with the other registrants without delay. For example, data sharing tasks related to data provision for substances with EINECS and List numbers has been automated.
